  1. 1. I want to read this book because I've always been interested in Africa, and this book seems really interesting. The main character faces many different kinds of challenges throughout the novel, which always makes the book into a fast and interesting read.
    2. I'll probably get this book either at half price books, Barnes and Noble, or online.

  2. This is Jim Nunn here, and i'm interested in reading this book, because of how genocide has affected the people of this earth for so long. This book is a first hand account of the stains genocide and it's terror have done to man, so it could show the greatest amount of liable proof. I'm also interested on how the protagonist reacts to the terror inflected upon her.
On getting this book, I've been out sick the past days and am planning on getting it where ever possible.

  3. I chose the book Tears of the Desert because just the summary alone stood out the most to me from all the other books. I know the genocide in Darfur is a huge problem in our world today, but thats about it. I am looking forward to getting informed about what is going on from someone who suffered first hand. Also, next week there is a program at the high school about the Genocide in Darfur which will help with understanding the book as well. I plan on getting this book by going over to Barnes and Noble this week!
